Why we charge what we do
TRS is for the things that matter. We're not competing with Dropbox or Google Drive on cents-per-gigabyte — we're closer in spirit to 1Password ($36/yr) or Everplans ($75/yr). The job is harder than file sync, the trust requirements are higher, and the recipient experience has to work for people who've never heard of us.
The free tier is real. Most casual users won't outgrow it for a long time, and we'd rather have you here on Free than not have you at all.
Honest commitments
- You can cancel any paid plan at any time and keep what you've got. We don't lock you out of the encrypted content you stored on Free or paid.
- You can export everything, including your encrypted blobs and recipient metadata, before you cancel.
- If we ever raise prices on existing customers, you'll have a year of advance notice and the option to lock in the old price by upgrading to Lifetime.
- If we shut down, your Pending Releases fire on schedule before the lights go out, and we'll publish a wind-down plan with at least 90 days of notice.
